| Wooho! I am home!
So yesterday I did not go to work as scheduled, because after going to see Harry Potter 7 Part 1 straight after work on Friday, I got sick, and have been enjoying that experience ever since then. So I called in sick, staggered around the house a bit, and then began the epic road journey with Peter and Sandra. Peter and I had a somewhat difficult time getting out of Philly (traffic, imagine my shock!), but it was enjoyable. I burned a mix CD for the ride, and we discussed how he doesn't watch Glee episodes, just the clips of them singing. I explained who Darren Criss is, and that he needs to watch AVPM. Music was discussed at length. We made it to Sandra (hooray!), and piled into her well-packed car. I took the back seat, and we were off. I was having some initial trouble with cramps, so I wasn't fun for the get go, but we listened to a little Iron and Wine while I recovered from experiencing three uncomfortable things simultaneously (those three things being, A) motion sickness from the car (I forgot my wristies and had to buy more en route.), B) my aforementioned cold, and C) my period (hence the cramping.)). Then we moved on to some awesome music (Weepies, Vienna Teng, etc.), and then we listened to The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris. Once that was done, we moved onto the most recent This American Life, which I slept through part of. We had just enough time to fit in a bit of Girlyman before we pulled into the Wayman's.
I have spent my time since then sleeping, eating soup (SOUP!), watching clips on youtube, watching Glee, watching The Sword in the Stone (I told you, I am completely zoned out, I don't know how I'm finding the coherency to type this), watching Community with Libby, watching more stuff on youtube (including watching Hank Green play videogames, which turned out to be a lot more fun than I'd thought), and petting the cats. KITTEHHHS.
Now I am going to go watch some Merlin, or something. I AM ILL YO. In the, you know, germ infected sense of the word. Blaaah. |
